Two small animation experiments exploring the contrast between gold paint and deep blue paper.

I painted the elements by hand using gold paint on blue paper, then scanned and animated them digitally. The first test focuses on a large mushroom covered in tiny beads of dew, glowing softly in the night, while the second follows a little fox quietly hiding behind flowering bushes.

I wanted to create a warm and poetic atmosphere, playing with the contrast between the dark blue surroundings and the delicate, shimmering gold. These simple scenes were an opportunity to explore a cosy, dreamlike feeling through handmade textures and subtle animation.
