Puzzle time!

A little Christmas gift project: I painted one of my illustrations onto a blank wooden puzzle, turning it into a one-of-a-kind handmade piece.

I first created the illustration digitally in Procreate, then transferred the drawing onto the puzzle as a pencil sketch. I painted the final artwork by hand in acrylic, adapting the illustration to the shape and texture of the puzzle pieces.

The illustration features a little witch and her wolf companion, wandering through a mysterious and slightly magical world.

I loved the idea of taking a digital illustration and turning it into a physical, handmade object — something that could be slowly put together and discovered piece by piece.
